Viya and the American Red Cross Society of the US Virgin Islands are partners throughout the 2021 hurricane season and are announcing a series of initiatives during Hurricane Preparedness Month.
Today Viya donated $ 5,000 to the local chapter of the American Red Cross. Jennifer Matarangas-King, Viya’s vice president of public relations and government affairs, presented the check for $ 5,000 to Tina Beazer, executive director of the American Red Cross USVI.

In addition to the cash donation, Viya presented the organization with 1,500 communication accessories, such as device chargers, solar chargers and battery packs essential for preparation. These communications accessories, valued at over $ 10,000, have been included in the American Red Cross Disaster Preparedness Participant Preparedness Kits at recent and upcoming training sessions held on the site. whole territory.

Viya is also starting her own emergency preparedness week with special giveaways.
